DoylesRoom.com Announces Summer Series Freeroll Finalist

Leading online poker room DoylesRoom.com has announced that Emanuel ‘ManneKK’ Karlen won Wednesday’s $25,000 Summer Series Freeroll Grand Finale and will now play against the ‘Godfather of Poker’ himself, Doyle Brunson.

Stockholm native Karlen will face the winner of ten World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelets in a heads-up match for $25,000 at DoylesRoom.com on Sunday. If he wins, the Swede will take the cash and receive the ultimate bragging rights, that of having beat Doyle ‘Texas Dolly’ Brunson in a heads-up tournament.

“The tournament was really fun,” said Karlen. “Early on, I managed to double up with a couple of flopped sets and big slicks that held up. Things went my way. Late game was all about choosing spots carefully since the structure was pretty fast. Playing a legend like Doyle Brunson heads-up is more than I ever could have dreamed of and will be really exciting. I'm looking forward to it and I will be happy, win or lose.”

As part of the prize, Karlen will also appear on the cover of Online Poker Pro magazine with the Texas-born legend as well as appearing in feature stories for other major poker publications.

“Congratulations to Emanuel on winning the right to take me on heads-up,” said Brunson. “I've seen some of our Scandinavian players in action and they are pretty good. I am looking forward to putting Emanuel to the test in the final match of the most innovative tournament series DoylesRoom.com has ever produced.”
