Poker camp announces one for the ladies

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has just announced that it will be running another poker class early next year, which will be all-female in an attempt help ladies improve their game.

During a two-day stay at Ceasars Palace casino in Las Vegas, on January 25th and 26th the WSOP academy will try to teach female players the skills of the game, including how to read tells and when to hold and fold.

The course will involve live hand demonstrations, seminars and tournaments and the best poker players could win seats at the WSOP's ladies event.

After following the teachings of instructors, including poker legend Annie Duke, Alex 'The Insider' Outhred and Joe Navarro, a former FBI agent, who is an expert on reading bluffing, the ladies will participate in a final tournament for a chance to win one of five $1,000 WSOP Ladies Event buy-ins.

In a brand new offering, Navarro will present a seminar which focuses on body language that is specific to females.

In this year's WSOP, Sally Ann Boyer, who attended the WSOP's ladies-only classes at the academy won her first bracelet in the $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Texas Hold'em Event.
