New poker room for Nottingham

At last the verdict is in on the Dusk Till Dawn poker room to open in Nottingham and magistrates have given it a big thumbs up.

Although three casinos tried to stop the poker room getting a licence, businessman Rob Yong is celebrating as the court made a decision in his favour and in a double piece of good news, Dave Colclough has agreed to be its official pro.

Over 3,000 other players have already registered to become members of the new club, which will have 45 poker tables in its 15,000 square foot capacity on Lenton Lane Industrial Estate.

Dusk Till Dawn will be the first legal poker club in the UK and will open to the public on November 29th.

Mr Yong, who formerly ran Smilin' Sams amusement arcade, told a Nottingham newspaper: "We are now completely focused on recruiting and training good quality people to work at the club and will only open seven days a week once we have these people in place.''

A £500 tournament will take place in celebration of the opening.
