Net Entertainment Signs Triple Licence Deal

Net Entertainment, a leading vendor of online gambling software, has announced three new licence agreements for delivery of its CasinoModule gaming platform.

The Swedish company said that these deals, with Danbook.com, Europlay-Malta and VIX Casino, takes the total number of licence agreements for its CasinoModule software to 13 for the year.

Danbook.com is a UK-based bookmaker operating since 2005 that targets the Danish market primarily and aims to launch a casino service soon. After integration of CasinoModule, Net Entertainment said that Danbook.com would have a complete service offering comprising sportsbetting, poker and a casino.

Europlay-Malta is a fast-growing gaming site targeting the German-speaking market. It is to apply for a gaming licence in Malta and aims to launch a casino service using CasinoModule by the end of the year.

Originating from a number of land-based casinos, VIX Casino, is now extending its business operation online and, through CasinoModule, will be able to offer members the same gaming experience they are used to from land-based operations.

“We have been successful in closing new deals during 2007, which shows the strength of our product and service offering,” said Johan Ohman, Chief Executive Officer for Net Entertainment.

Net Entertainment develops digitally distributed systems for Internet gaming with its core product, CasinoModule, consisting of a high number of browser-based games as well as an administration tool. The Stockholm-based firm licences CasinoModule on a royalty basis based on the revenues generated and customers are offered a system solution that is adapted and integrated for their existing websites.

“With mounting competition, it becomes increasingly important for operators to offer the latest in gaming technology to attract and retain players,” said Ohman. “The Net Entertainment CasinoModule provides the competitive edge operators require.”
