Ladbrokes Seeking Online Cash King

We all know who the winners of the big tournaments are, but now Ladbrokes are looking to find out who the biggest cash games winners are, having announced ‘The Ladbrokes Cash King’. Promoted as the Clash of the Titans, the aim is to find out who is the best online cash game player. Erik ‘The Salmon’ Sagstrom is one of the highest profile cash players on Ladbrokes, and is confirmed for the event already. More names are expected to be announced in the coming days.

The format should provide for an exciting demonstration of high stakes cash poker at its finest. Twelve players are to be invited by Ladbrokes to a two table cash game, with the stakes being a hefty $20,000 with unlimited rebuys.

The three day event will be held between 17th and 19th October, with the two 6-seated cash games being played on the 17th and 18th. Players will not be allowed to cash out if in profit in the first two and half hours. The third day will see the chip leaders from each of the two tables battle it out for the title of Ladbrokes Cash King in a best-of-5 heads up series. All players will keep their cash profits (or losses) from the first two days, and the winner will win an additional $48,000, a $9,000 cruise package and $2,650 Ladbrokes European Online Championship of Poker final package.
