Full Tilt’s Online Poker Series is Back

The quarterly Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is off and running today, with a guaranteed prize pool of over $9m across all events – a record for the series.

This is the sixth instalment of the FTOPS, and will include sixteen events in total, including four which have a guaranteed prize pool of over $1m. The previous series contained fourteen events, with one of the new additions this time around being the increasingly popular No Limit Hold’em Knockout Tournament. The buy in for this bounty event is $150+$13, with $30 going towards the player’s bounty. When that person is knocked out, the $30 goes to the person who knocked them out.

Another new addition to the series is the ‘Bouncebackability Freeroll’ - players who finish on the bubble for each FTOPS event enter this freeroll tournament, with the prize being a seat into the $535 main event.

Returning the series after a successful debut last time around is the two-day NL Hold’em event. The $2,500 buy in event has a guaranteed prizepool of $1.5m, and kicks off on the final Saturday of the series, 17th November.

The series will wrap up with the $500 buy in Main Event, with a $2m prizepool up for grabs.

Satellites to all of these events are now up and running on Full Tilt, and if nothing else it should make for some interesting railing.
