No Rest in November for Live Poker

With the first ever World Series of Poker Europe right on the back of it’s American big brother, EPT events across Europe and WPT events spanning the length and breadth of America (and occasionally beyond), the poker circuit has been non-stop the last few months. Those of you hoping to get a bit of a break in November though will be sorely disappointed when you look at the schedule.

The first week of the month has already seen final tables at three big tournaments: the WPT North American Championships, the WSOP Circuit event in Indiana and the EPT in Dublin.

Whilst the Poker Stars EPT will be taking a break in November, the other two tours will continue unabated. WPT’s World Poker Finals at Foxwoods, Connecticut is sure to be a monster as it is one of the biggest tournaments in terms of entrants outside of the WSOP.

The $10,000 buy in event saw 609 runners last year, and will be run from 7th – 13th November. Right after that, the WPT hits the Bellagio for the Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which runs into mid-December.

Over on the WSOP Circuit, there’s no rest for the wicked. Right after Indiana, preliminary events at Lake Tahoe begins, with the championship event running from 16th-18th November. After that, the month’s action wraps up at New Orleans, with that leg of the circuit kicking off on the 26th.

If these weren’t enough, there’s the start of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour which debuts in Macau, a selection of smaller buy-in events across North America including the Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV in Catoosa, Oklahoma, and a couple of tournaments in Los Angeles at the Commerce and The Bike.

November is sure to be a bumper month for poker players around the world.
