Party Gaming and RTL Launch German Poker Room

The German media group RTL and London-listed online gambling group Party Gaming have announced an exclusive agreement that will see the launch of a new RTLpoker.de website with links to PartyPoker.net, Party’s free-to-play site.

RTL stated that its current online presence at RTL.de has over six million users a month and offers significant cross-marketing possibilities and enviable access to the German market. In addition to website possibilities, RTL Interactive will also promote its poker offering and poker school via advertisements on the leading German television channel RTL TV.

Earlier this year, Party Gaming signed a deal to provide British broadcaster ITV with online games and a Party Gaming spokesperson emphasised that this latest deal was not white label.

“We are thrilled to have been chosen by RTL Interactive to provide an online poker school to their users,” said Mitch Garber, Chief Executive Officer for Party Gaming. 'This is a hugely exciting opportunity for us to work with the German Internet division of Europe’s leading broadcaster.”
