Green Joker Poker set for February

The Green Joker Poker European Deep Stack Poker Championship is set to take place in Drogheda in Ireland from February 2nd to 10th next year.

One of the most anticipated events of the European poker scene, the championship's main event will see some top players battling it out for 1,500 euros where players will begin with 50,000 euros in chips.

The main event begins on Wednesday 6th and runs for four days, but is preceded by a number of smaller games including the short-handed NL Hold'em Deep Stack Freezeout on Saturday February 2nd and the Omaha Deep Stack Freezeout which begins two days later.

All three events have a one hour clock, while the short-handed Hold'em and the Omaha both have 20,000 euros in starting chips.
