It's 'Easy Mizzi' as Sorel wins Titan-ic Sit and Go

Mizzi is well known to be one of the best online players in the world, a fact he proved this week when he bested 19 other players to take down The Tournament Titan $1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Sit ‘n’ Go on Titan Poker.

The tournament was the richest sit and go ever staged online, with qualifiers having to have final-tabled a select group of cash tournaments or win a Player Points race staged by the online poker room. The promotions gathered names for over a year, and 20 started the event.

Sorel is no slouch at live games either, having cashed three times in the 2007 WSOP this summer. In land based tournaments, he has won more than half a million dollars.

The Tournament Titan is one of a number of promotions the company has hosted recently. Earlier in the month Titan Poker hosted the European Championship of Online Poker 2007, a ten day series which awarded more than $2.5m in prizes. The site has also been offering players a way to make it to some of the biggest land-based tournaments in the poker calendar, including the WSOP, EPT Events and the forthcoming Aussie Millions.
