Gus Hansen Appearing In New Mobile Poker Game

Gus Hansen is one of the most recognisable faces in poker, and now player have the chance to take a little bit of Gus on the move following the announcement that ‘Million Dollar Poker’ is available to play on mobile phones.

According to the game developers Gameloft, it is the only mobile phone game that integrates a new generation of artificial intelligence, allowing players the chance to tackle a more realistic playing style.

But Hansen didn’t only lend his image to the game, also helping the company develop the AI on the program. With his undoubted skills and knowledge, the game is sure to have benefited from his consultation. He has won four WPT titles as well as a first place in this year’s Aussie Millions.

'The embarrassing thing is that I am yet to complete the game,' Hansen said in his blog. 'It takes a lot of skill to master the game's artificial intelligence as we wanted to create a game that offered a real challenge for you guys.'

In an innovation which hasn’t been seen in other mobile-based poker games, the AI will now be able to study its opponents, remembering their moves and coming up with strategies against them.

Gameloft also claim that the game has more than one million unique opponent profiles, assuring that each gamer's playing level will be perfectly matched, and the player will never face the same opponent twice.
