CyberArts Powers New Poker Operator T6Poker

San Francisco (January 2008) – Online gaming software provider CyberArts has announced it has created a full-scale, branded online poker system for T6Poker.com – in record time. In the midst of an aggressive and successful marketing effort to secure players for their January 1, 2008, T6Poker’s testing revealed that their existing software platform would be unable to reliably support the thousands of players enrolling in record numbers. T6 chose the CyberArts platform for its unparalleled stability and scalability, and for the company’s ability to design and create a custom, multi-language poker service – in less than six weeks.

“Foundation’s tested architecture made the ambitious goal seem possible, but we had to pull out all the stops to meet T6poker’s deadlines,” said Ken Arnold, chairman of CyberArts. “Foundation was designed to allow fast customization and localization. But normally it takes at least two months, not three weeks, to design, test and deploy a highly-customized online poker service.”

Filling T6poker’s needs required the CyberArts engineering team to work around the clock right through the Christmas 2007 holiday season. “I knew we had the best engineering team in the business,” said CyberArts CEO Chris Derossi, “but the T6poker project required quality software development at a speed never before attempted.”

But meeting T6poker’s design goals was only part of the challenge. “We needed to install the software on new servers, and do thorough testing, before T6 could officially launch to live players,” said CyberArts engineering VP Rudi Diezmann. “Fortunately, despite the fact that most vendors are shut down during the holidays, Dell was able to come through and deliver 60 servers in record time.”

After just 17 days, the CyberArts team had accomplished the launch of a fully-customized online poker service in English, with Spanish and all Scandinavian languages to follow within a few weeks. They also integrated extensive payment options, so that T6 can process financial transactions in multiple currencies through a variety of payment processors. Most importantly, the software had been thoroughly “wrung out” by testing using human players as well as thousands of “software bots” simulating five figure player volumes.

“We’re extremely impressed with CyberArts’ responsiveness and professionalism, but especially in their willingness and ability to launch in record time,” said Hübertz. “We made a commitment to our players, affiliates and partners to provide a stable, secure poker service. Our investment in the CyberArts Foundation platform, customized exactly to our needs, will insure we can keep our word.”

Said Ken Arnold, 'We're grateful to have been chosen as T6poker's exclusive software provider. We’re proud that we were able to meet their exacting requirements in record time. And I’m especially proud of the CyberArts team for devoting so much energy and time to the project, proving that their not only the best – they’re also the fastest!'
