Thursday 10th January 2008 UltimateBet's Online Poker Site Now in 14 New Languages
UltimateBet, the sponsoring sites for pros Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke, are reaching out to the international market having announced it has translated its website into 14 new languages. The new language options will allow poker players to access information and promotions in their native tongue.
'The language of poker is universal,' said UltimateBet spokesperson George MacLean. 'We're thrilled to make our non-English speaking poker players feel more comfortable at our Texas Hold'em tables and we're excited to make it easier for new players around the world to connect with our poker community.'
UltimateBet is now available in Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, French (Canadian), Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Czech', Japanese, Chinese and German.
The multicultural makeup of the online poker community was particularly evident at the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic, UltimateBet's signature island-based poker tournament. With the 2008 tournament scheduled for September 27th, the timing of the multilingual site couldn't be better.
