Betfair Poker launches weekly $100k Guaranteed

Betfair Poker are moving up in the poker world, let’s make no bones about it. The sponsors of the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe, Betfair now guarantees $4 million in tournament prize pools every month with the addition of a new $100k Sunday night tournament.

The $555 buy-in deep stack tournament launched for the first time this weekend, with future tournaments taking place every Sunday at 1830 (GMT).

“We already have some of the biggest cash games available on the internet and we want to be able to offer our customers regular higher value and larger buy-in tournaments,” said Betfair’s Director of Poker Bruce Stubbs.

“We are also offering a good range of qualifiers for the $100k, including freerolls, to ensure that everyone on Betfair has a chance of playing.”

Qualification satellites are currently available in the Betfair Poker lobby for the weekly $100k tournament.

There are also qualifiers for EPT events on Betfair, with seats to EPT Copenhagen currently up for grabs.
