MANSION Announces Sponsorship Deal with Shannon Elizabeth

Shannon Elizabeth, the actress from American Pie and fast improving professional poker player, has signed a sponsorship deal with MANSION Poker. Elizabeth joined MANSION’s first official ambassador Marc Goodwin at a conference this Monday morning, where the deal was announced.

First task for Elizabeth was the Aussie Millions Main Event in Melbourne, but unfortunately for the Hollywood beauty her pocket Sevens ran into Phil Laak’s pocket Aces. It was the first appearance for Elizabeth under the MANSION banner, although she is lined up to be playing many tournaments under the poker site’s colours.

Elizabeth may well be one of the most improved players on the poker circuit recently, which culminated in her breakout performance at the NBC Heads-Up Championship, reaching the semi finals before being knocked out by eventual winner Paul Wasicka. Whilst that cash for $125,000 is the largest of her fledgling career, she has also cashed in 4 WSOP events in the last two years.

MANSION have become an increasingly prominent presence in the poker industry, and as well as having Elizabeth and Goodwin promoting them, they are sponsors of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.
