Hellmuth shown the Door-chester

He might be able to dodge bullets, but he can’t dodge the dress code at The Dorchester by the looks of it. Whilst dining in acclaimed The Grill restaurant with fellow UltimateBet pro Annie Duke, management asked for Hellmuth to remove his signature PH cap. In a move which we find highly unlikely, Hellmuth didn’t see eye-to-eye with their policy and refused.

In London taking part in the Premier League Poker League, Hellmuth had to endure one more bad beat. Paparazzi outside the hotel saw Hellmuth escorted from the premises, although it is not entirely clear whether he was asked to leave or if he left under his own volition.

The Dorchester is one of the most prestigious hotels in the world, a regular favourite of the Beckhams, amongst others. According to their website, they embody “the highest of traditional values.” I am planning on going down there for a cup of tea in my Bluff Europe t-shirt later tonight.
