BrokenTPot goes third in OPOY

Internet poker player BrokenTPot has shot up Card Player's online player of the year (OPOY) rankings thanks to a big score over the weekend.

The online star, who is known as ShizelReturns on Full Tilt Poker and 1p1ins0mniac4 at UltimateBet, generated 1,280 points following a third place finish at PokerStars Sunday Million.

It is the player's second placing in a large tournament this year, having scored 1,000 at a Full Tilt Sunday $750K Guarantee in January.

BrokenTPot only just made the top three, however, edging out Brian "SNo0oWMAN" Hawkins by ten points.

Brent "Bhanks11" Hanks still leads the competition on 3,044, with Luke "IWEARGOGGLES" Staudenmaier second with 3,008.

Last year's winner Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron, who appeared to be making a strong defence of his crown early in 2008, is now in tenth position after a six-week drought that has seen him slowly slip down the table.
