It’s Reign Khan at Foxwoods Poker Classic Prelim

Over the Foxwoods Poker Classic, side events number 9 has been won by Hevad Khan, one of the most memorable characters from last year’s World Series of Poker. The event was a $2,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em preliminary, and the heads up affair was an all star setting, with Khan beating 2006 WSOP main event final tablist Michael Binger.

Khan outlasted a total of 192 players to win more than $108,000 for his first place finish. Binger won just over $80,000 for his efforts, with the total prize pool for the tournament coming up to just over $345,000.

The main WPT event kicks off on Friday, with a $10,000 buy in that will see the usual swarms of top professional players descend.
