APAT and Dusk Till Dawn Join Live Game Forces

Having worked their way through almost two seasons now, the Amateur Poker Association Tour – better known in the UK as APAT – has proved to be a big hit with those who enjoy deepstack poker on a smaller bankroll. Now they have joined forces with England’s poker Mecca, Dusk Till Dawn.

The two companies will now be offering workshops for live games players to attend and get hints and tips from some of the best players on the UK circuit. Under the tuitorship of Paul ‘Action’ Jackson, the APAT Academy will be discussing tournament strategy, position, working on hand ranges and bankroll management. Simon Trumper, himself one of the best players in the UK and winner of the inaugural Late Night Poker series, will lecture on psychology and tells. Sit and go play as well as cash game considerations will also be topics on the agenda.

Each event will start at 1.30pm and last for 6 hours, leaving enough time for the students to take their knowledge to the evening tournament at Dusk Till Dawn. The APAT Academy live events cost �99, and the three dates which have been finalised so far are:
