Absolute Poker result sends Rcrane sixth

A second place finish at Absolute Poker's $100K Pro Bounty Guarantee on Wednesday has catapulted rcrane082985 into sixth place in Card Player's online player of the year table.

The anonymous professional, sometimes known as russbuster, made 400 points from the tournament - the second biggest result of his season, after generating 480 for coming third at a Full Tilt Poker Sunday Mulligan earlier in the year.

Rcrane pushes down recent top ten entry Philip "USCphildo" Collins into seventh place, although he remains a fair distance away from the current frontrunner Brian "SNo0oWMAN" Hawkins.

Hawkins finished in the exact same position as rcrane at a $100K Pro Bounty Guarantee event at the start of April and has a precarious lead at the top with 3,336 points.

Brent "Bhanks11" Hanks is second on 3,056 and Luke "IWEARGOGGLES" Staudenmaier is third with 3,032.

Last year's winner Isaac "westmenloAA" Baron has dropped down to 13th.
