Bodog drops Arieh

Josh Arieh's contract with Bodog Poker has come to an end after four years.

The Atlanta, Georgia resident has achieved a lot under the Team Bodog banner, winning a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet and reaching the final of PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker event in 2007.

However, both sides agreed to end their deal a fortnight ago, which cleared the way for Bodog to sign Justin Bonomo over the weekend.

Arieh has won two WSOP titles in his career, as well as finishing third in the 2004 main event, for which he earned $2.5 million.

His career winnings exceed $4 million and he looks likely to add to it further this year, having already shown himself to be in good form in taking down event 14 of the Wynn Classic in March.

"Bodog and Josh have mutually decided to part ways at the end of April," a Bodog representative commented.

"We sincerely enjoyed our association with Josh and appreciate all that he brought to Team Bodog."
