Is Poker A Game Of Chance Or Skill?

It seems that every person you ask has a differing opinion on whether Poker is a game of chance or skill, whether systems work or you have little control over the hand you are dealt. The truth is that Poker is actually a simple game made complex by differing views and opinions, but this is what makes the game so attractive and so popular.

There is no doubt that there are many skills involved in Poker but if you also have lady luck on your side then you have an even better chance of being successful. However, even if you have the best hand in the world you need the bottle to go with it, you need the courage of your convictions. So where do you start?

The trick to Poker is playing your own game but also picking up on how your opponents play, their mannerism and the speed at which the play good and bad hands. The more you notice about your competitor the better chance you have or beating them. If you have a poor hand but know that the last people remaining in the hand are wary, then why not look to bluff them and force their hand?

But then again, do you have the nerve?
