WSOP Fever Continues To Grow

As we fast approach the start of the 2008 WSOP event it seems that there are free seats at the table available on a whole host of sites. While the likes of Poker Stars and Full Tilt continue to the lead the way for those looking to bag a free entry to the tournament, they have been joined by Ultimatebet, 32Red Poker and Chili Poker.

What has surprised many is the size of the promotions of offer with one recent promotion offering up to 25 seats for those looking for a tilt at the ‘big one’. We keep hearing news that Poker is struggling, that the US ban is still having a major impact, yet initial indications are that this years WSOP will be as big as ever.

The chance of a visit to Las Vegas and the chance to pit their wits against the best in the industry seems to be too much for some, with online activity booming over the last few weeks. While there have been no indications as yet with regards to the prize pot this year, if the promotional activity is anything to go by then we could be in for a real blockbuster.
