Ivey Hits a Hot Streak Online

With the end of the World Poker Tour season drawing in last weekend, many of the high stakes games in Vegas wound up too, meaning many pros came back to the big online games.

Phil Ivey logged in over at Full Tilt Poker this weekend, and ended up laying into some of the best online cash game players in the world. Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan, Hac ‘trex313’ Danh and Phil ‘OMGClayAitken’ Galfond all ended up on the receiving end of a Phil Ivey rush. By the time he logged out, Ivey was up between $500-600k on Sunday alone, with the wins coming in even quantities in both Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold’em games. ‘trex313’ got the brunt of the hit, losing one pot which came to almost $245,000 on the $500/$1000 Pot Limit Omaha ‘Thunderdome’.
