Friday 5th September 2008 PokerTime hits the big time!
While it has been on the cards for a while, the launch of PokerTime's lucrative US$200,000 monthly leader board has caught the eye of everyone in the poker industry. August saw the list of qualifiers paid all the way down to number 150 with prizes ranging from US$20 to US$25,000 with much more to come!<br />

The league system is purely based upon how many Poker Points each player can manage bag in a month by literally playing as much poker as they can. The competition was a little slow to start off but now that everyone knows how it works and how much money is at stake it really is starting to hit the big time. <br />

When you take a step back and look at the league it is literally a win win situation for all involved because the more people who play the more money PokerTime receives and the more each player participates online the more chance of bagging a prize. Quite why nobody else has followed the group as yet is a bit of a mystery but with the event now making its mark this seems only a matter of time.<br />

While $200,000 a month may seem big bucks this is money which the players are placing into the pot with a great chance of bagging a big prize at the same time.
