Sunday 7th September 2008 What are the betting exchanges saying about the WSOP final table?
As we get ever closer to the final table of WSOP 2008 it seems sensible to take a look at the latest odds on the betting exchanges and see where the money is going. So who do you fancy for the big one?

A quick look reveals odds of :-

Dennis Phillips 9/2
Craig Marquis 12/1
Ylon Schwartz 9/1
Scott Montgomery 11/2
Darus Suharto 12/1
David Rheem 11/1
Ivan Demidov 9/2
Kelly Kim 39/1
Peter Eastgate 11/2

As the interest in the final table hots up, is it time to have a flutter now or see how the early stages of the final table pan out?

As with any game, poker especially, the odds can change very quickly but a quick look at the above list shows that a few players are seemingly out of the reckoning before it even starts with odds of nearly 40/1 on show. So what happens if you take a punt on an outsider and they have a great start?

This is when it can get very interesting using in-play markets because you can play the numbers game and take a chance on some of the less well fancied players. Alternatively you can also ‘lay’ the shorter odd players in the hope that they don’t start well and you can bag some higher odds in play.

There are many ways to play the in-play market – you just need to know how it all works and what you are risking!
