Wednesday 17th September 2008 Stars line up for the Par and Poker Celebrity Challenge
While Super Bowl week may still be some way off it looks as though plans are already a foot to make it one of the busiest weeks in the Poker and charity calendar. The Joyner-Walker Foundation has announced a whole host of stars who will attend the Par and Poker Celebrity Challenge on Thursday 29th January 2009 in Tampa, Florida.

The event consists of a round of 18 holes on the golf course and then a keenly fought No Limit Texas Hold’em poker event which has proved very popular in the past. The latest to join the fold is Ed Moses who has signed up alongside the likes of NFL superstars Keith Byers, Lawrence Taylor and baseball legends Ozzie Smith and Chili Davis. There will also be a whole host of celebrities from every walk of life as the whole of America gets ready to let its hair down in Super Bowl week – all in the name of charity.

This is not the first poker event to be planned for Super Bowl week and it will certainly not be the last as Christmas comes again for the poker industry. Each competition is bigger and better than the former and competition is intense as the stars decide where to go.
