Saturday 20th September 2008 WSOP 2008 : David Rheem step forward
While David Rheem may be laying 7th out of the final 9 players at this years WSOP 2008 final table, he is a man who has been there and done it, although not quite cashed out the monster wins. He may only have 10,230,000 chips in his final stack but there is every chance he can make some progress and hopefully takeout some of the less experienced players who are in attendance.

David Rheem is a 29 year old poker player who now resides in Los Angeles, California, a man who has a good track record in the sport and many feel can make that final push if the cards fall his way and he uses them correctly. When you consider that he has five previous WSOP cashes it is easy to see where this confidence comes from.

While he has made a number of final tables in some of the big events it is his runner up finish in the 2006 $1,000 no limit Texas hold’em event which caught the eye of many. His career winnings so far amount to over $700,000 and while he is guaranteed a decent drop for just making the final table he will be looking to move into the big time and grab that crown.
