Wednesday 25th February 2009 CentreBet To Provide Fixed-Odds Services To TABs
Online casino and sportsbook operator CentreBet International Limited has been appointed as the provider of fixed-odds wagering management services to the Totalizator Agency Boards for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Racing and Wagering Western Australia and Tote Tasmania.
The arrangement will begin in late-May and covers all fixed-odds racing and sportsbetting products offered by the TABs for three years as well as an expanded offering to be provided by CentreBet.
The agreement contains an option for the TABs to extend the deal for a further 18 months and will see CentreBet manage the existing $200 million of fixed-odds racing and sportsbetting turnover in return for a service fee that has been structured progressively to target growth.
“The selection of CentreBet to manage the fastest growing area of the TABs’ business is a resounding endorsement of the systems, processes and experience of the CentreBet team,” said Con Kafataris, Managing Director for CentreBet.
“With each of the TAB’s directly responsible to their respective state and territory governments, the standards required of their fixed-odds manager are exceptionally high and CentreBet has been able to meet those standards.”
