Wednesday 24th November 2004 Victor Chandler Signs Maxim Poker Deal
Dennis Publishing, the publisher behind men’s mag Maxim and gambling glossy Inside Edge has announced a six figure cross promotion deal with Victor Chandler Poker. The agreement will see Maxim hosting the Maxim King of Poker Tournament in London this June.
Maxim has said it will offer a poker supplement, offering poker tuition and advice and that every week from January to June 2005, readers can enter a multi-table online tournament, the winners of which will qualify for the Grand Final tournament event.
In fact it seems that Maxim has well and truly caught the poker bug, with promises of weekly and monthly prizes as well as the ultimate prize to be crowned Maxim's King of Poker, plus the chance to attend the event.
Simon Clark, group advertising director of Dennis Publishing, said: 'It is a fantastic opportunity for Dennis Publishing to offer its readers and on-line users the chance to be involved in such a large event and creates total interaction with those who enter.'
