World Poker Congress Brings Together Online and Land Poker



The World Poker Congress, on June 27-28 in Stockholm, will be the first conference to integrate online and live aspects of the poker industry. One part of the congress will be devoted to online issues and the other will focus on the land- based, live game.

'Online poker operators are facing increasing competition at all levels,' said Sue Schneider, President of one of the conference organisers, River City Group. 'The World Poker Congress will highlight the strategies, products and services that will help any online poker room stay at the top of their game.'

'To be successful in the poker world, you must understand the challenges and opportunities. The World Poker Congress will give operators and vendors a window into poker's future.' said Paul Dworin, publisher of Global Gaming Business and PokerBIZ magazines.
