Kahuna Sports, the US National Fantasy Football organiser, has announced it will stage a $100,000 Fantasy Football fest, with a side order $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament at Binion’s Horseshoe on September 4th.
Chicago Bear, William 'Refrigerator' Perry and former Buffalo Bill, Andre Reed will be there to oversee proceedings in what, with 400 teams in the drafts and 34 live drafts going off at the same time, will be one of the biggest fantasy football contests ever.
Following the competition, Kahuna is taking a select group of 150 people to Binion's Horseshoe to compete in the first annual Kahuna Sports $10,000 No Limit Texas Hold'Em Poker Tournament. The buy-in of $299 includes Saturday night stay at the Las Vegas Hilton along with transportation from the Las Vegas Hilton to Binion's.
'This was the best idea to add poker to the football event because many of our customers are avid poker players. Plus, Refrigerator Perry is playing in our poker tournament which adds another element and level of excitement', stated James Mesick, president of Kahuna Sports.
