Friday 29th September 2006 TouchStone Offers Qualifiers for Two Multi-Million Tourneys
TouchStone Gaming is continuing to run qualifiers for two upcoming big money tournaments – the $2.5 Million B.C. Poker Championship and the $5 Million Ongame Network Poker Classic, both with finals in late November. Daily qualifying for these events continues until the beginning of November at Touchstone Gaming, with scheduled and sit and go tournaments.
The B.C. Poker Championship is being held on November 26 in Richmond, British Columbia. In addition to the No Limit Hold'em finals, this tournament also features Omaha Hi/Lo and Pot Limit Texas Hold'em, with $500,000 in prize money available for each, creating an estimated total prize pool of $3.5 Million.
The Ongame Network Poker Classic guarantees a prize of $1 million for the final winner. The last 45 players left in the online portion of the November 4 tournament receive airfare and accommodation at the Casino de Barcelona in Spain where they'll continue the tournament with the chip stacks they accumulated online, until one player is declared the winner and instantly becomes a millionaire. The final tournament weekend begins on November 30 and runs until December 3.
