Monday 30th October 2006 Poker Industry Expo Set To Discuss Legal Issues
The Poker Industry Expo at the Marriott Hotel, Costa Rica on December 7-8 is set to cover all the major issues currently affecting the industry.
Poker room and online poker executives will be in attendance at the event, which will focus on the management of the industry, as well as new marketing and technology techniques.
The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act will also be up for discussion, as will its effects on the online poker boom. The Expo will discuss the market opportunities, legal interpretations and payment alternatives that exist for the poker market.
Last year's event attracted some of the biggest names in poker, including Mike Caro and Doyle Brunson. This year big names including Michael Bolcerek (President of the Poker Players Alliance), The Hon. James M. Kasper (State of North Dakota House of Representatives), Professor Joseph Kelly (Attorney and Professor of Law at the State University of New York at Buffalo), Peter McGreevy (Attorney), will be in attendance.
