Sky Poker Launches New TV Show

Sky Poker has announced the launch of a new TV show, Poker Week, which will bring Britain’s poker fans the latest tournament coverage, news and gossip from all the major poker events.

Hosted by Jonny Gould, Dave Compton, Tony 'Tikay' Kendall and Rhowena Colclough, the new show will tour the card rooms and casinos of the UK and beyond, providing player interviews and the news and views of some of the biggest names in poker. Poker Week airs on Sky Sports 2 every Thursday and Friday, and every day on Sky Poker channel 846.

“Poker Week is the only television show that entertains and keeps viewers up to date with all the news from the world of poker,” said Steve Downer, Gaming Director at Sky. “Poker Week covers the latest big money tournaments from across the UK, Europe as well as the biggest one of them all: The World Series of Poker direct from Las Vegas.”

Poker Week also features Poker School, which offers anyone thinking of taking up poker or wishing to improve their game, video tutorials and top tips from the experts.

Highlights from Poker Week as well as Poker School are available at www.skypoker.com and www.skysports.com.
