Monday 31st March 2008 Devilfish Poker Sponsors Irish National Student Poker Championships 2008
Devilfish Poker have announced that they will sponsor the Irish National Student Poker Championship 2008 which takes place in the Regency Airport Hotel, Dublin on Saturday April 5, 2008.
Up to 400 players are expected to attend the €65 (+ €7 registration fee) buy-in event. Tournament organisers won't be accept registrations or payment on the day, so if you're wanting to enter the competition you have to register here.
The tournament is open to students from across Europe and the prize pool is an estimated €26,000.
Paul Barnes, CEO of the company, said, 'This is the first of a long line of events and promotions Devilfish Poker will be involved in over the coming months. The Devilfish himself approves, himself having been a student of many things in his time -- but we suspect he might have bunked off to play poker on a few occasions too!'
