The episodes from the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Super High Roller might have finished a couple of weeks ago with Fabian Quoss winning the event after seeing off Dan Shak heads up but PokerStars.tv have now started to provide us all with the coverage from the Main Event.
This hugely popular event brought in 1,031 players which was just about good enough to create a prize pool bigger than the guarantee of $10 million with it sat at $10,070,000. This meant that the winner would be become a good $1,423,096 richer as well as holding one of the most sought over titles on the poker calendar. Many of you may already know that winner as this event took place in January, yet even if you do, its still great to see the actual action.
As you would expect with any PCA Main Event, it brought out all of the notable players and a good mix of recreational players to boot. This event is always the first one that players earmark at the start of each year for January and not just because of the events but also to have the chance to get away from the cold and into some Caribbean weather.
PokerStars Team Pros Chris Moneymaker and Daniel Negreanu along with Ryan Riess, Antonio Esfandiari and Davidi Kitai are among those heavily featured in this first episode which starts on Day 2 of the event. Three of those players mentioned were eliminated during this episode but you will have to watch it to find out exactly who they were.
There are some interesting hands in this episode, especially between Esfandiari and Kitai who went up against each other on a number of occasions over at the feature table. Moneymaker is also on that table and he gets involved in a few key hands as well.
Make sure you get comfortable as the episode runs for almost 50 minutes, though these 50 minutes will fly by if you love nothing better than watching high quality poker.
We will return with each of the other episodes as soon as PokerStars.tv makes them available themselves. So please do pop back from time to time to see if we have the latest episode.
