PokerStars EPT Deauville Day 3 – Hadaya Takes Lead

We had 154 players returning to the field yesterday to take part in Day 3 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Deauville Main Event. With each of them having their eyes on making it into the top 120 paying places first and foremost.

Once that bubble period was out of the way, they could then concentrate on improving their own position on the leader board. As the day finished, that field had seen the bubble go past and leave us with just 51 players to battle it out on Day 4 a little later on today.

It was Shahaf Hadaya who topped the field at the end of Day 3, with his chip count of 1,237,000 being almost 200k better than the next placed player Matthieu Herve on 1,050,000.

Players Lost During Day 3!

With us losing a total of 103 players throughout the third day, it is expected that amongst that number would be some of the more notable names in poker. In fact, there are now no longer any PokerStars Team Pros involved with Matthias De Meulder, Sandra Naujoks and Vanessa Rousso all being eliminated at some point throughout the day.

Along with those went Yannick Bonnet, David Ostrom, Zimnan Ziyard, Sergii Baranov, Steve O’Dwyer, Freddy Deeb and former Team Pro Ana Marquez.

As far as players that are still involved, we do still have some of the more notables going into Day 4. Jason Koon, Gordon Huntly, James Mitchell, Lucien Cohen and the super cool Mathew Frankland are all still in with a great chance of making things happen in this event.
