The next ten days are going to be really good for all of the lower stakes grinders on PokerStars as its MicroMillions series hits its third installment later on today. It will be running until the 25th of November and will supply a hundred events which will range in buy-ins from as low as 0.11c and as high as just $22.
The MicroMillions has been a massive success on both of the previous occasions it was held, as it offers players that either cannot afford or simply does not want to take part in events that require a large buy-in. It gives them the chance to test their skill in big events without risking too much money.
There will be guarantees on the prize pools of over $5 million in total with the Main Event offering a prize pool guarantee of $1 million with that meaning a minimum first place prize of $150,000.
It kicks off at 10am server time with the $10k prizepool guaranteed $0.11 which is sure to attract a huge field of players. That is just the start of what is to come during the next ten days with some of the highlights listed below:
Nov. 15 – Event 2 $1+R No-Limit Hold’em – $150k guarantee
Nov. 17 – Event 20 $2.22+R No-Limit – $150k guarantee
Nov. 17 – Event 22 $11 SuperKnockout – $75k guarantee
Nov. 18 – Event 32 $11 No-Limit Hold’em – $300k guarantee
Nov. 24 – Event 85 $2.22+R No-Limit – $150k guarantee
Nov. 25 – Event 98 $22 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event – $1m guarantee
Additionally, there is likely to be many PokerStars Team Pros taking part in the events which gives players the chance to play against some of their poker idols.
There will also be a leaderboard provided by PokerStars which will award the player who finishes at the top a full package to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in 2013. Whilst anyone who finishes between 2nd and 10th will get a seat in the TCOOP Main Event and the players inside the top 100 will win tickets worth $109 for the TCOOP.
What’s more is that you can even get into many of the events at the MicroMillions for even less than the advertised buy-ins, by taking advantage of a whole host of satellites. These satellites over players the chance to win tickets into the event by taking part in a separate and lower stake event.
We will be running updates on how the series is going, whilst keeping you informed about which players have been taking down titles.
