PokerStars PCA 2014 – Play Alongside A Pro! (vid)

PCA 2014

Another fantastic PokerStars event is about to hit the virtual felts. It may not be a $1 million guaranteed main event, or a WCOOP money spinner, but it is going to be special.

It’s hard to put into context exactly how many reasons there are for you to at least attempt to get your shout at taking part in the up and coming $5,000 freeroll on PokerStars. Reason one is most obviously because it’s free, reason two is because it’s just too easy to get involved, reason three, you get to cheer on a pro poker player, and finally reason four, you get to play alongside a poker pro if you back the right horse.

In 2014, the PokerStars Pros will be swarming back over to Paradise Island for another major battle on the felts in the yearly PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. To win your way into the freeroll event that bestows the celebration of the return of the biggest poker festival outside of Vegas, all you need to do is get on Twitter and vote.

The PCA 2014 Main Event is the centre of attention as you make your own prediction on which poker player will make it closest to the finish line. The roll of names to vote for includes Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker, Jonathan Duhamel, Fatima Moreira de Melo, Elky, Barry Greenstein, Vanessa Selbst, Andre Akkari, Eugene Katchalov and Liv Boeree.

Here’s the hard part. Your backed player has to go the deepest in the tournament out of the above mentioned names to win your way into the $5,000 freeroll, which will get the cards in the air on the 26th of January, 2014. That’s not all; you’ll also be playing alongside the pro that got you there if you win. Plus, the players you’ll be pulling up a seat against will all be like-minded pundits as they will have won their way by voting the same player.
