PokerStars have recently announced their latest member to their PokerStars Team Online Pro with it being the female Russian poker pro Tatiana “Mysters_Y” Barausova. She has now joined fellow female poker players Liv Boeree, Vanessa Rousso and Vanessa Selbst on the books at PokerStars.

She initially started out playing at PokerStars a good few years ago, slowly working her way up the cash stakes. She began at the micro stakes and was a micro grinder before stepping up her game and becoming a successful mid stakes player. It was there that she eventually managed to gain the status of a Supernova Elite player back in 2011 – 2012.

She then started to spend her time taking part in some of the biggest online tournaments at the site, with her eventually starting to find her feet and earn some considerable success. This year in March she managed to make the final tables of two of the biggest PokerStars Sunday tournaments which gave her combined winnings of around $35k.

Those tournaments seemed to wet her appetite of poker at the highest level, with her now concentrating her time on playing the biggest MTT’s around.

Well she is certainly able to now, as she has been signed up by the site alongside some of the best poker players in the world, with names such as Daniel Negreanu, Mickey Petersen, Bertrand Grosspellier and Jason Mercier. If one thing was for sure, she is not going to have to go looking for poker advice anymore with players of that ilk on hand at any given time.

When Tatiana is not playing poker, she likes to have an active life, she likes to spend time keeping fit in the gym, travelling the world and generally having a good time. One such high octane activity that she loves is snowboarding, if she ever has any spare time away from the table, that is her prime choice of past time.

She plays under the screen name of “Mysters_Y” at PokerStars and is one of the hardest working online players around right now.

With PokerStars adding yet another name to their Team PokerStars ranks, not too long after the acquisition of Ike Haxton, it begs the question of whether we are likely to see any more players added before the end of the year.

It wouldn’t surprise us if we were to see another name, as we already know that PokerStars like to be connected with the best online poker players.
