PokerStars Sunday Events Bring More Big Winners

For online poker players, Sunday is the day they most look forward to on a weekly basis. This is for one reason and one reason only as it is the day that PokerStars holds its biggest weekly tournaments. There are a number that play out but we are going to share with you the results of the two biggest in the Sunday Warm-Up and the Sunday Million.

Take at look at who will have been dancing around there rooms after winning some life changing money.

PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up

The first of the two major weekly events over on PokerStars was that of the Sunday Warm-up, with the $500k guaranteed event bringing in 3,532 players. This meant that the guarantee had been busted yet again as the actual prize pool was calculated at $706,400.

That prize pool was shared among the top 540 players with the eventual winner being “RichieA7s” from Lithuania after he managed to overcome Nick “FU_15” Maimone who is a known online player that reached the PokerStars Super Tuesday final table back in November 2013.

The top three had agreed to chop the remaining prize pool which meant the runner up actually took home the most money with a payout of $95,529.95. “RichieA7s” took home the title and a payout of $86,263.68.

PokerStars Sunday Million

The Sunday Million is the pinnacle of all weekly online poker tournaments and this one certainly did not disappoint. There were 7,495 players that entered to create yet another guarantee busting prize pool. This time it was $1,499,000, practically $500k more than the guarantee.

1,080 players were paid out in this event, but the largest share was taken home by the Russian pro “timvn2008” after he came out on top to take home the title. Another three way chop was made but the winner on this occasion did take home the most after he banked a more than healthy $187,699.94 after beating “FNessy” heads up.
