PokerStars Super Tuesday – CMoosepower Scoops $74,868.06

American dollars

The PokerStars Super Tuesday was once again played out last night with the usual packed field of players returning to the felt in order to win the biggest midweek online tournament in poker. There were 635 of them in total which created a guarantee busting prize pool of $635,000.

This meant that 72 of them would share that amount with the eventual winner set to walk away with the biggest slice.

There were plenty of familiar faces playing this week too from Matt “salty14” Salsberg, Zo ”pakmanmma” Karim, Marc-Andre “FrenchDawg” Ladouceur to Faraz “The-Toilet 0” Jaka. The highest placed finisher of them all on this occasion was Karim after he finished 20th.

None of them could quite do what the eventual winner Christian “CMoosepower” Elgstrøm did after he came out on top of the field after the top six on the final table had agreed to a chop of the remaining prize pool. He took home $74,868.06 for his victory and will now have a little more to spend on his Christmas presents this year.

The final and winning hand for Elgstrom came when after a raise eventually elevated to both players risking all of their chips. He was holding the pocket eights whilst his opponent “Shhh00kem” the As-Jh.

The board fell as the 7s-Kc-8c-Kh-Qc to give him the full house, the title and the bragging rights for the latest PokerStars Super Tuesday.
