PokerStars TCOOP – Day 1 Roundup!

fri3

The PokerStars Turbo Championship Of Online Poker started last night, with the second season of the series seeing four events played out on the first day. The turbo format is not for everyone; however there is a large amount of players that simply cannot get enough of it.

Here are the events that took place yesterday:

TCOOP 2013 Event 1 – $27 No Limit Holdem Six Max

The very first event of the 2013 TCOOP schedule saw a staggering 38,176 players jumping in, with each of them having their eyes on a TCOOP title and bags full of money. That number started the tournament off well with it creating a prize pool of $937,220.80, nearly $200k more than the $750k guarantee.

The eventual winner was “jogin23” after the whole of the final table agreed to chop the prize pool, he managed to take down “sascha_me” during heads up and becomes the first title holder of 2013.
