Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn was in the money yesterday as he pushed himself back up the list of 2013’s top online cash poker profits, after recording a $430,147 profit in the space of 2 days.
Yesterday Kostritsyn added $236,600 to his previous day’s winnings of $193,547 playing 2-7 Triple Draw. He is now the second highest earner for 2013 with $3,140,070 banked so far and only $4,264 behind Dan “Cottonseed1” Hendon in the running for the top spot. This is the first time he has been back over the $3 million mark since back in May, where he pulled in some incredible 8-Game Mix wins that have so far made up for the majority of his profits.
Kostritsyn spent both days without venturing away from Triple Draw tables. He made all his cash playing three sessions and 402 hands yesterday with the lion’s share of the spoils coming via a lunchtime grind on the $1,500/$3,000 tables. Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau, Sebastien “Seb86″ Sabic, Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius, “Kagome Kagome” and “Punting-Peddler” all sat the table where Kostritsyn managed to pull out $182,000 from under their noses.
The Russian then went on to play heads up versus Frenchman David Benefield on the $500/$1,000 tables, taking just under $44,000 from the showdown.
Patrik Antonius was the second highest earner on the Full Tilt tables for the day after raking in $88,350 while, like Kostritsyn, choosing to stick to the Triple Draw games. Gus Hansen took the 3rd largest Triple Draw win for the day winning $55,470, which was only enough to see him take what was the 6th largest profit in all poker games and the 4th largest profit on the Full Tilt tables.

Another Frenchman was also spotted at the tables by way of Triple Draw expert Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau. However, he wasn’t in a good spot by the end of the day after pumping $107,248 on to the tables with no return. This year he’s played 44,031 2-7 hands over 383 session and is currently $227,687 down, although this still hasn’t been a bad month for him on the Triple Draw tables so far. In 28 session and 3,225 hands, he’s pulled back $214,072 bringing him back from a situation where he was staring down the barrel of what was almost a half million deficit from 2-7 games at the start of the month.
