The European Poker Tour Prague has already begun, but most poker professionals will be playing in the Main Event which is days away. One by one, they will come to Czech Republic’s capital, with high expectations and bringing loads of experience to the table.
Dale Phillip was among the first to arrive and already participated in a side-event, busting late in the day when his small pair ran into a slightly better one. Jake Cody can certainly relate to that as he suffered an untimely elimination with AQ vs AK, while Toby Lewis is gearing up for the main event away from the tables, taking advantage of the warm weather.
Busted an hour before end of day. Bloke limped UTG. I shoved button with 33 for 14BB. He called off half his stack with 66. GG #EurekaPrague

Jonathan Little wasn’t much luckier either, but he found solace in visiting the city, just like Tim Reilly who traveled to Prague following a late Sunday grind. Jason Lavallee apparently suffered a massive downswing online, but he hopes his fortunes will change in Prague. There will be no sightseeing for Daniel Negreanu in Prague this year, who will be focusing on poker and a show shooting arrangement.
I have expired from the poker tournament. I’ll probably play online some and see what the city has to offer.
