It’s been a destructive couple of months for players like Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, but looking in other corners of the online poker world, the dash to the end of 2013 to turnover a yearly profit is proving a success, especially for one player in particular.
Niklas “ragen70″ Heinecker has been crushing the Full Tilt poker tables for yet another month bagging so far a profit of $877,465 in September’s play alone. Although he is not September’s highest earner, trailing to Alex “IReadYrSoul” Millar’s $1,693,768 September haul, “Ragen70” has found himself as September’s and 2013’s second biggest profit maker.

The latest upswing started on Tuesday for Niklas “ragen70″ Heinecker, after he pulled in an impressive $475,000 heave out of the Deuce to Seven Triple Draw games mainly grinding the heads-up options. Most notably, he had a great game against one of poker’s most diverse players Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn. The action saw Heinecker deliver a substantial blow to the Russian’s recent success on the cash tables taking $246,000 from him. On the same day he beat down Sebastien “Seb86″ Sabic to smash and grab $175,000 to add to some earlier wins on the ring games, in what was a day of carnage delivered to the tables by the superstar online and live pro.
On Thursday he was back in the action with another six figure reminder of why he is one of the most dangerous online poker players in the world right now. He took $291,000 in that particular exploitation giving him an almost $750,000 profit for the month.
After a quiet couple of days slightly in the red “ragen70″ Heinecker was back in the midst of it, in another high end day of intense action at the nosebleed cash tables of Full Tilt. It was back to the Triple Draw game once again playing at $2,000/$4,000 blind levels. Firstly, Heinecker rinsed Patrik “FinddaGrind” Antonius for cool $119,000 in just 20 short minutes. His roller coaster upswing continued and he ended with another six figures to boast as he walked away pocket full with $245,000 in the green.
Another more than impressive player reported to be flying through into the green has been that man Phil “Polarizing” Ivey. One of our favourite players because he is up for the gamble and well up for the game. It’s great to see Ivey bouncing back from his latest Crockfords news and getting in there with another profit. This time he took $84,896. Let’s hope he gets his cash that is rightly his, out of Crockfords and comes back to the online scene for some more regular appearances.
