“SallyWoo” Secures Profits Of $286k On High Stakes

With there not being any notable poker tournaments going on at such a close time to Christmas, many players are getting back to the good old internet in an attempt to win some Christmas cash, with the most successful over the past couple of days being “SallyWoo” who has taken down profits of $286k during that time.

He won most of that cash at the $1k/$2k Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo tables, against two of the most successful cash players around in “Gus Hansen” and Phil “Polarizing” Ivey. He came out on top of them both in separate sessions, with the first seeing him take $228.7k from Hansen in little over two hours of play.

He then had no opponents to play and was sat alone at the table for more than an hour in wait, before a certain Phil “Polarizing” Ivey sat down for some action. He was certainly not overawed though, with Ivey in fact having enough after just 40 minutes and leaving having lost a good $57k to his opponent.

“1Mastermind” Running Well Too!

Another player that has had a good few days was “1Mastermind”, who has been playing mainly at the $1k/$2k 2-7 Triple Draw tables over at Full Tilt Poker. He secured winnings of $236k against his nemesis on the poker tables “fishosaurusREX” after they played for a good five hour session.

He then took a further $40k down during a small session on the CAP Pot Limit Omaha tables to bring his tally up to profits of $270k.

PokerStars Saw Some Big Winners As Well!

Over at PokerStars they had some big highstakes action going on too with “1-ronnyr3” adding another $110.5k to his bankroll after playing at the $200/$400 Pot Limit Omaha tables. “JLlama” also had a good few days with profits taken down of $103.1k after a session against “wilhasha” on the $50/$100 NLHE tables.

The PokerStars tables have also been the site where the biggest pots have been taking place recently, with “1-ronnyr3” hitting a bigger two pair than “Ilari FIN” on the turn and river for a pot of $71.6k. His opponent did hit back in a later hand though to win a pot of $49.7k with pocket jacks, whilst “1-ronnyr3” missed all of his draws.

Ilari Sahamies has actually suffered a bad few days having now dropped $90k at PokerStars recently, though that is nothing compared to the amounts that have been lost by both Hansen and “fishosaurusREX” at Full Tilt Poker.
