Satellites Open For 2015 PCA

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure may be some time off yet but satellites are already being held for players to win seats in Main Events. PokerStarsBlog recently revealed that satellites have opened up starting at just $1.10 that could see you win a package worth $15,950 that includes the buy-in for the PCA Main Event, travelling expenses, hotel stay and some cash for expenses.

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure starts on the 6th of January this time around and will run a large schedule of 35 events until the 14th. There will be the Main Event, $100k Super High Roller, and $25k High Roller. The OCA has become one of the most anticipated poker festivals on the calendar due to it being early in the year and giving players the chance to get away from the cold and play some poker.

It is also the most popular stop on the European Poker Tour and attracts pretty much all of the big names each and every year.

Also, for the first time the Latin America Poker Tour will hold an event at the PCA with a $3k LAPT main Event running between the 7th and 9th of January.

You just have to look to last year’s winner Dominik Panka to see how satellite tournaments can pay off handsomely. He managed to win a package through one of these satellites and walked away with the title and a $1.4 million payday after coming out on top of an intense heads up match against Mike “Timex” McDonald.

This means that he got his $10k seat completely paid for, his travelling and expenses all covered and all from winning a single satellite.

We highly suggest that you do the same if you are planning on heading out to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure next year. You have plenty of opportunities too as the satellites have only just started running and will be running right up until right before the PCA gets underway.

We are sure there will be satellites for many of the other events on offer too, so make sure you look right into the satellite schedules to see if there are any that appeal to you. If you do miss out on going to the PCA next year, you at least know you can count on us to bring you all of the action that occurs over in the Bahamas on a daily basis.
