Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky has already proven to be far and away the most consistent performer at PokerStars all this year, having raked in nearly $4 million in profit for the year so far at the high stakes tables. Yesterday however saw him trying to prove that he can do it on any table, anywhere as he was playing as “Sauce1234” at Full Tilt Poker.
Having pulled clear of his closest rivals in the race to become the most profitable player of the year to the tune of around $1.2 million, he knows it is highly he can be caught with just a month to go until the end of the year. Perhaps that is the reason he has tried to see if he can be just as successful at another site too, with initial signs showing that he can as he made a profit of $258.4k just yesterday.
His first taste of the action wasn’t too impressive as in his early sessions he actually found himself down around $90k, yet the day was still early. However, he decided to take a break and come back again later in the evening, which proved to be an excellent decision.
Later in the day he decided to play the $200/$400 NLHE tables and spent most of the time heads up against Full Tilt “Professional” Tom “Durrrr” Dwan. By the time that session was over, Sulsky walker away a $258k winner.
“Durrrr” Struggling But Not For Long!
Ever since Full Tilt re-launched, all three of the “Professionals” have been having an extremely torrid time of it with in this case “Durrrr” being down around $400k after messing with “Sauce1234”. After his heads up session last night though, things did start to get a little bit better for Dwan, he has since been playing against the likes of “patpatpanda”, “pummelfee123”, “LokolsBack” and “Genious28”, with him currently holding a profit of $368k for the day so far today.
One of his biggest pots was when he won $139.6k when he flopped a two pair to crack the aces of “patpatpanda”. That pot was today so it does not qualify as yesterdays biggest pot, that being a $130.9k pot at PokerStars between “patpatman” and “Kanu7” with the latter getting lucky on the river to hit his straight.
The other big profits from yesterday were made by “wilhasha” who took down around $137k over at PokerStars, and “no_OLA” winning $105.5k at Full Tilt Poker.
Yesterday’s Biggest Profits!
Sauce1234 – (+$258.4k)
wilhasha – (+$137.1k)
no_Ola – (+$105.5k)
V.Wahlbeck – (+$84.6k)
